| Napalm's Niche: Napalm in the A.M.'s site offers a ton of useful ideas for customizers as well as a photo page of his soldiers in the field. Be sure to check out Napalm's "Tactical Edge" page for pictures and descriptions of hand-made items including some amazing chest harnesses, assault vests, and scopes. Go to the "Think Tank" for tips on anything from installing a real lens in your soldier's night vision device (using a Sprite bottle!) to fixing a wobbly neck. | ||
| USATAF: Home of SSG G's United States Anti-terrrorist TAsk Force. Check out his custom modern soldiers as they hit the rifle range, train at river fording, engage in some Jungle OPS, or just relax at base camp. Nice page of printables, too. If you're from the Philadelphia area, be sure to hook up with SSG G's East Cental PA 1:6 Military Collector's Club. | ||
| Scarecrow's 1/6 Soldiers: Impressed by the realism and detail that some customizers add to their figures but feel you lack the "tool smarts" to do stuff like that yourself? No worries, buddy-- Scarecrow's helpful site reads like Customizer 101. With a checklist of customizing tools and materials, a how-to section, and kitbashing ideas, 'ol Scarecrow will have you working magic on your troops in no time. While you're there, don't forget to check out the photo galleries of Scarecrow's sharp looking troops. | ||
| Graeylin's 1/6 Pages: I've long admired Graeylin's 1:6 projects on Green Leader's 21C board, so I was well pleased when I came across his personal web site. If you're interested in Japanese or Scottish military subjects, Graeylin has photos and descriptions of his remarkable collection on display in addition to links to information on the 'Net. And if you're new to kitbashing or diorama construction, he has some great DIY tutorials as well. Not only that, he's even got some dio accessories for sale or trade for us artistically challenged folks! Don't miss this site! | ||
| Storm's Operation Iron Fist: Sharp-looking, easy to navigate site with some great pics of Storm's WW2 troopers. My faves include the homemade shotgun chest pouch for his USMC shotgunner and his comical photo story titled Aya's Revenge, in which a 3rd ID squad come to blows with a giant housewife! Very helpful tips section too-- ol' Pistol Pete even learned a few tricks! | ||
